It
is the administrative capital of Najran. It is known for agriculture, with the
Wadi Najran Dam, one of the largest dams in Arabia. There are many palms, the
most famous of which is the grey area mentioned in the Holy Quran in Surah al -
Buraj. Its mountains are still pristine, rich in artifacts and diverse carvings
full of paintings, with a population of 700000.
