Samta Province is a Saudi province belonging to the Emirate of Jazan Region, southwestern Saudi Arabia, and is home to Samta City, about 60 km south of Jazan City. According to 2010 statistics, Samta occupies an area of about 300 km2 and has a population of about 201,656, followed by about 47 villages and a higher population growth rate than in any other region.
